We are currently looking for a high number of graduates to join our New Cardio Division across multiple locations in Europe. This training program is designed to help train and develop graduates that are looking to move into a commercial and clinical medical device environment.
Successful candidates will be offered a 12-month fixed term contract, where they will learn and expand experiences in the New Cardio field from our trained Sales and Support Representatives in a live environment. This will give you a first-hand insight into the commercial world of healthcare outside of a university setting. You will develop many competencies while performing in a professional work situation.
This role will be based around Dusseldorf and will require daily travel throughout the region.
Successful candidates may be retained by Boston Scientific in the New Cardio or other technical divisions. The position will start in September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in learning and training events to develop product knowledge, clinical and commercial skills.
- Become certified as a subject matter expert on a designated franchise product area.
- Accompany a Field Coach to learn about working in a clinical setting.
- Interact with healthcare professionals and patients in clinical interventions.
- Plan and deliver daily interventions with clinicians.
- Educate clinicians on a product franchise.
- Commercially promote a product franchise.
- Contribute to the preparation and production of presentations and reports using word processing, spreadsheets, and other computer programs.
- Conduct yourself as a full-time member of the staff by adhering to BSC’s rules and maintaining professional conduct at all times.
- Comply with confidentiality and professional policies established by Boston Scientific.
Profile Requirements:
- Recent Bachelor’s or Master’s graduate (2024/2025) with a Biomedical, Scientific Degree or Nursing qualification covering Heart/Cardio topics.
- Fluent in English and German (C1).
- Strong planning, time management, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience from a placement within a clinical, hospital or similar setting.
- Technically savvy and confident using computers.
- Eagerness to learn, be coached and develop within a commercial setting.
- Willingness to travel within Germany or Europe and stay away up to one week at a time.
- Valid driver’s license.
